That store, located on Ventura Street NE, reported to police that their total loss during the incident was $14,889.
A warrant was issued for Bailey’s arrest on Oct. 23, 2023, and he was arrested that same day. Prosecutors asked for him to be held pending trial and that motion was granted.

On July 11, Bailey and an unidentified Hispanic male entered Harbor Freight and picked up merchandise.
Police say the two bypassed the cash registers. Court documents indicate that the unidentified man, who was not carrying any merchandise, brandished a semi-automatic firearm and told an unarmed security officer, “This is not your stuff and you will get capped.”
The security guard let the two leave the store because, he said, he feared for the safety of everyone else there.
On July 18, court documents state that Adams drove a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee to Harbor Freight and parked the vehicle in the parking lot. At 1:29 p.m. Adams, Bailey, and Montoya walked into the store and headed in three different directions away from camera view.
A minute later, Adams appeared back in the camera’s view carrying car keys and a cell phone and walked out the door to the Jeep. Adams hopped into the vehicle and drove up to the store’s doors. According to court documents, Bailey and Montoya walked out of the store and up to the Jeep and the men loaded the unpaid merchandise into the vehicle, and drove off.
Court records state that the next day Bailey and Adams entered Harbor Freight at 6:34 p.m. and walked to the far north side of the store out of camera view. Then, Adams walked back into the camera’s view carrying his keys in one hand and headed to the Jeep in the parking lot. He entered the vehicle and moved it in front of the store’s front doors. Police say Bailey then walked out of the store, pushing the shopping cart full of unpaid goods.
Bailey is being held pending trial.

Charge: Shoplifting above $2,500 but less than $20,000

Police say Martinez would enter PetSmart with a backpack, or a reusable shopping bag, or both, and in under three minutes he’d stuff the bags full of goods and walk out. During one of the incidents, a customer realized what Martinez was doing and knocked the items out of his hands. However, Martinez was still able to run out of the door with stuff in his bag, according to court documents.
During another incident, a store employee tried to block Martinez from coming in, but he walked right past the employee, stole items, and walked out, according to court documents. An arrest warrant was issued for Martinez in December, but he wasn’t arrested until March 29. Martinez is being held pending trial, according to court records.
