Marble Brewery has announced it found a buyer.

Scant details were available Wednesday afternoon, but owners of the establishment posted on social media they have entered a purchase agreement with a potential new and local owner.

“We expect to have the purchase completed by the end of the year, and all brewing and taproom operations will continue without interruption during and after the transition,” the Facebook post states.

Marble did not respond to a request for comment.

Marble Brewery has three locations: the original, in the Wells Park neighborhood, and tap rooms in the Northeast Heights and on the Westside. The business drew attention last month when rumors began circulating that it would shut down.

The company, launched in 2008, was named Small Brewer of the Year at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival, and its products have won various awards through the years.
