The New Mexico State Fair kicks off tomorrow and officials have announced opening-day discounts on admission, food and rides.
Admission and rides on Thursday will be $2, and there will be $5 food specials, according to a New Mexico State Fair press release. The discounts are only for those paying in cash and are available for purchase at the gate.
“Each year we seek to provide affordable options to ensure everyone has the opportunity to experience the magic of the New Mexico State Fair,” Dan Mourning, general manager of the fair said in the release. “With these incredible opening day discounts, we invite New Mexicans to get an early start on all the fun including delicious fair foods and thrilling midway rides!”
The fair runs through Sept. 15.
