Elise Kaplan has been reporting in and around Albuquerque for about a decade. After graduating from the University of New Mexico, she wrote for the Weekly Alibi and the Mountain View Telegraph before joining the Albuquerque Journal in 2014 to cover crime and the criminal justice system.
