As states across the country pass legislation restricting access to abortion and gender-affirming care, advocates and allies met in Albuquerque late last week to strategize on what steps can be taken here. Reporter Damon Scott was the only member of the media there as leaders of Equality New Mexico, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, and the American Civil Liberties Union of New Mexico planned for future political discourse and legislation.
