An Albuquerque Police Department officer with a history of excessive use of force and fatal shootings is under scrutiny after shooting and killing a suspected shoplifter in the midst of a mental health crisis in November. Reporter Bethany Raja spoke with an attorney who intends to file a lawsuit on behalf of the family and looked at the officer’s history with APD.
